Asiatic   Caucasian   Western American   Martagon   Trumpet

Asiatic Lily   fall 2007 - 2008

Allow 3-8 weeks for germination at 60 to 65 degrees, easy to grow. 1a = upright, 1b = side facing, 1c = pendent

Asiatic Mix.  Very wide assortment of colors and flower types - a little bit of everything. A good mix for those looking for some nice landscape plants.
[AL-001] Special Price - 200+ seeds $1.50

L. wilsonii Clone 88-15-2 x clone 88-15-4.  Seedlings will vary from yellow to orange, many with pastel and pinkish overtones. Upfacing with nice wide foliage. Wilsonii combines very well with tigrinum. You will find some interesting germplasm here if you are looking for upright garden lilies.
[AL-300] 20 seeds $2.00

L. davidii.  1c orange, floriferous pyramid inflorescence. Nice garden lily with decent bulb rot resistance. From many different clones. Important lily for hybridizing. If you are going to hybridize garden lilies, then L. davidii is a lily that you have to have as it imparts nice inflorescences to its progenies. It's only draw back is narrow foliage and a stem that could be stronger. However, both of these shortcomings are easily compensated for when making crosses.
(AL-100) 20 seeds $1.75

L. davidii hybrid mix.  A wide mix of davidii hybrids intermated. A good landscape mix for taller 1b and 1c lilies.
[AL-101] 30 seeds $1.50

L. davidii X A1.152.   L. davidii X (davidii x (davidii x Tinkerbell)). This is a second generation backcross to davidii using several clones of davidii and several clones of (davidii x (davidii x Tinkerbell)) ( clone 1 ) . These progenies should be somewhat similar to davidii in overall form, but will vary due to the different pollen parents used. Colors will be more to the pastel side. These progenies should be good breeding stock.
(AL-102) 30 seeds $2.00

A1152 F2 mix #1.   ((davidii x (davidii xTinkerbell)) x Sibs. The backcross seedlings were segerating for cream pastels and orange with nice pendent flowers. If you want some exceptional breeding stock for garden lilies, you will find it here. Also many will be good garden plants. This mix was produced by intermating the creams and pastel flowered plants and all seedlings should be pastels.
[AL-103] 30 seeds $1.50

L. davidii x 0-69.  L. davidii x [((sld x davidii) x George Slate) x (davidii x Tinkerbell)]. Good breeding stock for davidii strong garden lilies. These seedlings will be segregating for orange and pastel colors, but the pastels are the most valuable for hybridizing. These seedlings will combine well with [AL-101, AL-102 and AL-103].
[AL-117] 20 seeds $2.00

(davidii x tigrinum)F2.  Davidii and tigrinum don't cross easily, but both lilies are important plants for hybridizing disease resistant lilies. These F2 seedlings will be of exceptional value to hybridizers who want to breed garden lilies and will combine well with any of the seedlings from davidii and tinkerbell breeding or tigrinum-wilsonii breeding.
(AL-116) 20 seeds $1.50

tigrinum F1/F2 mix.  This is a wide mix of tigrinum F1 hybrids and tigrinum seedlings crossed to other tigrinum seedlings or backcrossed to tigrinum. Tirginum has exceptional bulb rot resistance and many of these seedlings will show that trait - these seedlings will make good parents for breeding rot resistant lilies. Many of these will also be nice landscape plants.
(AL-119) 30 seeds $1.50

(tirginum x wilsonii)F2.  Tigrinum and wilsonii combine well and produce nice seedlings in the F2 generation. The F1's were produced from several cones of tigrinum crossed with several clones of wilsonii, including wilsonii flavum, and then selectively intermating these F1's to produce this F2 population. The wide wilsonii base adds interesting segregation potential in the F2 generation. Nice seedlings for gardening, especially for the late summer garden, but many of these seedlings will be good breeding stock.
(AL-812) 30 seeds $1.50

99-11 X tigrinum.  ((davidii-tigrinum-wilsonii hyb) x tigrinum) x tigrinum. This backcross will produce pastel flowered seedlings that are 75% tigrinum, but many of these will have more open inflorescences then typical of tigrinum. Very useful for hybridizers who want to use disease resistant tigrinum germplasm. These seedlings will be especially useful for crossing to white cutflower Asiatics to open up the inflorescences. These seedlings should also produce great germplasm when crossed to Tinkerbell germplasm.
(AL-817) 20 seeds $2.00
